Such comparisons are meaningless. The site needed to die, in a sense, and be reborn into something different. Otherwise it would not have happened. This site fulfills a role, whatever it may be, that the previous one could not.
Well, the site is just a shadow of its former self, but things go in cycles, and we're in it for the long run, for just the right use of the term "Enlightenment ... dot ... com." Thanks for your participation.
This is an energy which is coming at this website through this person, an energy of which they are no doubt outwardly unaware. The person is merely the unconscious vehicle. The question is, what, if any, should be the response.
We are always diligent about references, but as you acknowledged this video already had the link embedded. But I'm happy to add one to the description as well, which I'll do shortly. Grateful for your site and the strong advocacy of alternatives.
I just finished reading all of your "notes"....you are an excellent writer! :-) I had no idea Ken Wilber was sick.....and I couldn't agree more with you on the condition of our health care system! Maybe it should be called "sick care"!
P.S. Also, if you look on the main page under LATEST ACTIVITY you will see where it says, Deb left a COMMENT for Jordan, etc.....and on says Jordan left a comment for Jordan....anywya, when you see the words COMMENT or REPLIED there and they are underlined...just click on them and it will take you to the comment or the reply...OR you can simply click on that persons photo and it will take you to their page where you can scroll down to their WALL and see the comments there. :-)
Hi Deb. You are absolutely right; this is shameful. I guess I thought I could arrange to have a community site for E.com (after our old servers were killed and we had to go somewhere else for less money), and this is the result of it all. I'm afraid that E.com has gone from my first "burner" to my 6th or 7th "burner," and it certainly deserves better treatment than that.
You did say you could help. And I would be happy to make you an administrator. I'll see if I can figure out how to do that...now. Thanks *so much* for your offer to help.
Also, we can talk privately if you like, or email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
